Dr. James C. Blair (Jim) received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Purdue University. While completing his graduate work he did university research and development in the areas of hierarchical storage systems and interactive debugging. He is an experienced information technology professional with a proven track record of creatively deploying computer and communications technology enhancing efficiency and competitive success for companies in several major fields. His executive level experience spans corporations in computer technology, manufacturing, distribution, finance, publishing and health services. Dr.
Blair has demonstrated vision and direction leading diverse teams of
professionals in operational, financial and developmental aspects of Information
Systems. He has successfully managed or
consulted on numerous projects of varying complexity and scope. A few of his
accomplishments include:
In 2001 he received his Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification from the Project Management Institute. In addition to his executive experience, Dr. Blair has been an Adjunct Professor in the Professional Degree Programs at Washington University in St. Louis since 1991. His emphasis has been on generalized technical and historical foundations, overviews and applications of computer technology and information systems, and project management within the business world. Dr. Blair is the founder and president of Paladin Project Management Consultants, LLC, a consulting firm specializing in coaching, supporting and training in project management. He combines his executive experience with his teaching and consulting experience to provide a holistic and integrative perspective for implementing positive business change and improving business effectiveness by means of improved project management. |

Dr. Thomas A. Browdy (Tom) has over 20 years of experience in information
technology. He has held technical, management, consulting, and academic
positions. Consulting and teaching have been in the areas of technology
transfer, project management, business transformation, motivation, Computer
Aided Software Engineering (CASE), development methodologies, and skills
assessment of information systems professionals. Dr. Browdy has published
numerous articles in these areas. Teaching has included graduate and
undergraduate academic courses, as well as professional seminars. Formal
presentations have been made to local, national, and international groups
both in the U.S. and Europe. He has chaired and served on various program
committees for a variety of information technology events, and has served as
a reviewer and referee for technology publications. Dr. Browdy is Director for the Masters of Information Management program at the Sever Institute Program of Continuing Studies at Washington University in St. Louis. As an affiliate faculty member he also teaches in these programs, and advises students with independent and doctoral work. He has an appointment as Assistant Director in The Center for the Application of Information Technology at Washington University. The Center is a consortium of leading Information Management organizations in the St. Louis region. Dr. Browdy holds a B.S. degree in mathematics, a Master of Information Management, and a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior and Psychology. |

Daniel W. Berger (Dan) is a proven technical leader with more than 18 years of experience in government, finance, healthcare, manufacturing and industrial environments. He holds a Master of Information Management degree from Washington University and a Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification from the Project Management Institute. Dan is a leader and organizer with initiative and motivation that specializes in leading growing companies through the fast paced changes of the high technology world, while focusing on the creation of world-class management information system teams. Also he has served as an interim executive for companies that require a change agent due to out of control growth, or failure to adapt new technology. Dan has been responsible for managing over 60 Healthcare Information Technology projects spanning multiple organizations and locations. He has developed an automated system for selecting Electronic Medical Record software that can be used as a cost effective tool for doctors who are looking to implement Healthcare Information Technology. Additionally he has managed the everyday operations including technology infrastructure, application development, computer aided design, database management, web application development, and multimedia communication services. Dan was responsible for planning and leading multiple geographically dispersed object oriented (OO) development projects within a large financial institution. Dan holds the rank of Lieutenant in the U.S. Naval Reserves. His current position is that of Automated Information Systems Commander at Scott Air Force Base where he is responsible for managing, training, and developing junior officers and enlisted personnel in technical environments including development, testing, and operation of Intelligence collection tools and computer systems. He has been responsible for several multi-million dollar projects for the Navel Reserves including a medical records tracking database. |

Rod Toro is a long-time ASQC Certified Quality Engineer, as well as an IRCA Registered Lead Assessor. Rod is an ISO/TS 16949 Lead Auditor, as well as a Six Sigma Black Belt. He earned his B.A. from the University of Georgia. Rod has 20 years experience and has assisted over 150 companies in the manufacturing and automotive fields. He held management positions with companies such as St. Clair Die Casting and Cooper Industries, establishing and maintaining ISO 9000, QS-9000 and ISO/TS 16949 systems. As Director of Quality Systems, Rod established and maintained TQM with ISO 9001 as a base; including fabrication, molding, assembly and distribution. In addition, he oversaw process monitoring and training programs. Rod’s major focus has been automotive and manufacturing clients and serves as a highly qualified subject matter expert and primary instructor for ISO/TS 16949 training programs and related quality tool courses (i.e., APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, etc.). He has supported clients in implementing quality management systems, providing services that range from training and consulting support to leading internal audits and assisting in development and implementation of the internal audit program. Rod has conducted innumerable pre-assessment audits against ISO 9000, QS-9000 and ISO/TS 16949 in a wide range of industries. He has completed 6 Six Sigma projects with an average annual cost savings of $400,000. Rod has specialized in the areas of Lead Auditor training and consulting. In addition to Lead Auditor training, Rod has conducted training on information mapping, ISO 9000 Internal Auditing and Documentation. His extensive background in consulting has included assisting companies (in the fields of distribution, chemical processing, to manufacturing, printing and transportation) through the process of certification. Rod has also presented interpretations to lead auditors during national conferences. |
